We want to sincerely thank Angie Angers and the team at Bay News 9 for shining a light on our citizen-led effort to protect Clearwater’s public streets. Your coverage helps our community understand what’s at stake and why it’s so important that the people—not just politicians—decide the future of our downtown.

As our spokesman, Brooks Gibbs shared, Save The Garden is made up of everyday residents who love this city and want to keep our public spaces open to everyone. We’re grateful to Bay News 9 for taking the time to tell this story fairly and helping raise awareness about our petition to require voter approval before any downtown streets are sold or closed.
